This blog post should have been posted last week but thanks to a rotten old cold (cough, sniff, blowwwwww!) this has been delayed….. !!

In the meantime, the wonderful Theresa Furey has written such a good blog post on her site about the day that it would be all too easy just to direct you all to her post instead!!!

We had the most wonderful day and are really grateful to Theresa for taking so many gorgeous images for us. Her photos of the day have been aptly described as vintage eye candy – no wonder we’ve had so many lovely e mails from both exhibitors and Brides who attended the day!

As we work so hard putting these events together, it’s really important to us to have some fun on the day and most importantly to see everyone else have fun. Seeing exhibitors mingle, network and chat gives us such a warm and lovely glow. There was a load of fun had by all.

it was lovely to see a mixture of new and old faces at this event. Cheryl from Vintage Glamour Days put together another stunning pop up vintage tea parlour, Lyndsey from Le Keux Events was busy making Brides and guests look authentically vintage and Simon Partridge sang his socks off.

Ailsa Floral Designs and Passion for Flowers had some stunning floral displays showcasing both vintage chic and glamour.

The Wedding of my Dreams, Simply Chic, Bunting Queen, Whimsical Wishes, Meeni and Peppermint put together some great venue styling ideas. Thanks also to Bunting Queen for lending us the bunting for the day.

There were lots of gorgeous cakes too! Tracey from Cotton and Crumbs and also Pam from the Red Cake Company bought along some totally beautiful cake creations. Seriously talented cake designers…….. !!

For all you magpies there were some stunning sparkly vintage accessories from So Jewellery, Tallullahs Trinkets, Lovely and Vintage and Tattered Rose. Sally from Sharper Millinery had some stunning hats, birdcage veils and fascinators on display.

We can’t forget our wonderful photographers Steve Gerrard, Liezl Croft, The Barbers, Theresa  Furey and Daffodil Waves. They are all so talented yet individual in their style.

We also had some different and unique exhibitors – Paper me Happy and Beaubuttons who make alternative accessories and bouquets.

There was also Ruth and her team from Emilys Best  who were showcasing their gorgeous sweet shop and Hannah from CraftT Day had a stunning stand  – for your hen do or just for fun – get involved in learning new crafts for the day!!

Alan Feeney bought some tradition and ceremony to the event – dressed in his finest, he offers bespoke celebrant services as well as being a toast master for all formal occasions.

For save the dates, thank you’s and invites Garden Studios covers it all with a wide selection of vintage inspired designs. Lastly and by no means least we had June Eastwood who is a corset and seamstress extra ordinaire and the lovely Sally from Lovely and Vintage who sources stunning vintage prettiness including dresses and accessories.

We’re working on plans for 2012 so if you’re interested in getting involved then drop us a line! xxxx
